Zhongliao · Hand in Hand
From afternoon community services to a moonlit reunion dinner, government, school, nonprofit, Rotary and civic partners came together in Zhongliao to turn care into visible, lasting local impact.
Our sincere thanks to Jerry, the Dawn Rotary Club fellowship chair responsible for the event, and Secretary-General Health for their dedication to bringing warmth to Hand in Hand, Love Without Limits in Zhongliao and keeping community care moving forward.

Thank you to incoming District Governor Rick for joining the Zhongliao Hand in Hand charity event and exchanging ideas with volunteers and local guests. His encouragement supports rural care, education and collaboration. Weizheng has long supported children and older people in need in Zhongliao, and held an impact exhibition at Yongkang Elementary this year to share its ongoing commitment.
Being there in person gives strength to every helping hand and keeps Zhongliao's warmth visible.

Ten Years of Impact
Beginning with a single English lesson, ten years of encounters, learning and companionship have become a source of strength for children. The Rotary Club of Taichung Dawn and education partners sustain English learning for disadvantaged students, turning charity into a lasting commitment.

Football dreams, new hope
On September 10, 2026, Taichung Dawn Rotary Club visited Shuanglong Elementary School in Xinyi Township, Nantou, bringing members and partners together to support football learning and deliver supplies and care.
Equipment presentations, exchanges with students and teachers, and group photographs record this shared effort. Thank you to the school and every partner helping children grow in confidence.
Before the event begins, care is already on its way.
The Rotary Club of Taichung Dawn and Chair Wu of the Cunshan association visited Zhongliao Township Health Center, the Township Office, Zhongliao Police Station and Zhongliao Elementary School to discuss the Hand in Hand charity event.
A poster, a conversation and a sincere welcome bring community service closer to everyday life. Thank you to each team for making time to meet us and hear about the event. We look forward to carrying this warmth into our September 19 gathering.

Before the event begins, warmth is already growing.
On September 8, we met with the board members of the Cunshan association to review the September 19 program and divide responsibilities. Their energy, enthusiasm and wholehearted support gave the team even greater confidence.
More than ten directors and supervisors attended. These photos document moments from the meeting and do not include every attendee; thank you for your understanding.
A thoughtful birthday cake for a board member added an especially warm moment. The smiles and blessings around the table brought a family-like spirit to the busy preparations and filled the gathering with positive energy.

It all began with a simple, heartfelt wish.

From its founding, the Rotary Club of Taichung Dawn wished to make charity the warmth at its heart. Years later, that wish became Hand in Hand, Love Without Limits. We wanted to bring care to rural communities, especially English education for disadvantaged children. Every child deserves a chance to see the world, whether growing up in a city or beside a mountain.
Since its launch by Charter President CPA of the Rotary Club of Taichung Dawn, Michael, Stanley and fellow partners, that original spirit of service has continued to this day. They went beyond ideas, taking the first steps and inviting people from many professions to join. Their sincere example inspired one contribution after another.
Thank you to everyone who reached out. Different professions and backgrounds came together through shared kindness. Some gave time, some money, some ideas, and some simply said, “I can help.” Each is a precious expression of love without limits.
Thank you to everyone who cares about rural children. Every share, word of encouragement and act of participation lights a small lamp along their learning journey.
Charity is not one person moving fast,
but many people going far together.
May we keep walking hand in hand, passing on this warmth so more children find confidence and dreams through English.
